Vitreous opacities

What are Vitreous opacities?

It is fine fibers that float around in the vitreous gel of the eye.

How is it treated?

There are different options:

  • No treatment. The patient will get used to it and will not notice it anymore.
  • If the patient does not get used to it, it can be removed surgically.
